Overcoming Rationalizations When Making Ethical Decisions

"Identifying and Overcoming Rationalizations In Making Business Decisions" looks at why good people don't always do the right thing. In theory, doing the right thing is simple. But when we need to take action, we don't always live up to our own ideals. Sometimes we go with our instincts, ignore our conscience, or take the easy way out. We may not even do it consciously.

This micro course examines the gap between ideals and the reality of why making ethical decisions can be difficult. You'll identify some common rationalizations we use to excuse our behavior, the conflict of interest that causes those rationalizations, and four tips to overcome them.
